lol the whole car needs a flat and polish to make it shine but im not doing that quite yet as im letting it cure properly, i used cellulose high build primer and groundcoat and the pearl midcoat was also cellulose then to finish i used a 2 pack laquer and i gave the car 4 coats of each paint.I have no blooming or runs but the laquer is a little rough in areas buts theres plenty on so when i polish it up it will be good.

I think it looks awesome and your workmanship is great but i just can't help but think with all the effort you've gone to why paint it in a tent and not get a pro to do it or even rent a booth if you wanted to do it yourself? Money i guess. Looks awesome though. Good luck with the sanding and mopping mate. It will take time but will be worth it.

Just a few pix with a new set of lights ive built to give an idea of how its gonna look, also bought the aluminium to build my spoiler brackets and end pieces today so looking forward to that as soon as i get a backload of work done and sent.

would you say the finish is on par with a pro? paint wise I mean?

Nope not sure what the actual finish will be yet it looks nice but not as good as a pro job, once ive flat and polished it im hoping it will be to quite a good standard but i sprayed in a tent so the car is covered in overspray and i need to get that flat down before i can see the final result.

Unfortunately im bogged down building lights at the minute so i havent had time to work on it, once i get on track i'll post up pix as i go along.

lol well each to their own, cheers for the stick up jev

No probs, it's easy to pick apart peoples work, I can imagine reading stuff like that could be quite hurtfull/demoralising, maybe if people saw the work that was put in to get to that stage they might feel differently.

I admit, some people modify Supra by sticking different headlights on & it looks aweful, I didn't have high hopes for this at the start if I'm truthfull, but I honestly think it looks great, not my cup of tea, but great non the less

cheers dude, not being liked doesnt really bother me anymore to be honest i built it for me not for others approval but if people do like what ive done thats kewl aswell.

Im as bad as others looking at other peoples styling and not liking but then i know how much hard work this work is and respect that too.

Ive just spent the last two days flatting and polishing and have no fingertips left now but yet another step closer to the end lol.
