michael
I have the XS 3600, it does everything it needs to do. I wired the connector onto the battery and extended the cable down under the passenger headlamp, at the same time I extended the cable on the unit itself and now it can reach out of my garagem, onto the drive and up through the front bumper. I've had the car on trickle for many months and never had an issue starting it up again. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=135255 chats about a few units but I think most people settled on the CTEK. Avoid the solar ones, they are poo unless you spend a small fortune.

Chris Wilson
I have used and recommended these. They are safe with gel type race batteries, too, if you have a Red Top Varley or equivalent. They do a bigger version, as well. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Battery-charger-8-AMP-motorsport-spec-Formula-ford-etc_W0QQitemZ170386402248QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item27abd22bc8&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Guest blueangel
i have a yellow top ultima battery that really needs charging do they need a different type of charger
peter richards
i think they do charge but not like a designated charger , more like it keeps a charged battery up
Guest blueangel
thats kewl then ill get the neighbour to charge it first then
SupraJames
A standard charger will not charge a Yellow Top fully, you will need a charger/conditioner, if anyone has an Yellow Top I can highly recommend the CTEK chargers, yes they are more expensive but will bring a dead yellow top back from the grave. merckx
I got mine from Lidl last year - £12.99 , it's made in Germany. I don't think it's a coincidence that it has the same buttons and display leds as the Ctek charger which is considerably more expensive. It works perfectly, so why pay more? http://jenikovo.misto.cz/_MAIL_/Foto/Full/Vybaveni/nabijecka_tronic_2.JPG
