CJ
I am confused I want to connect my (oldish) PC to my (newish) LCD TV but to do so it says I need to use a DVI to HDNI cable. It also says that VGA connection is not supported. I am pretty sure that I only have a VGA output from my PC and so my question is, can I get an adaptor to make my VGA cable into a DVI to HDMI cable and if so, will it work OK? Pot
Not trying to state the obvious, but does your TV have a PC input? (Big blue one) - I'm guessing not, so what outputs do you have from your PC?... By VGA, do you mean the blue one? (DVI's a white one) - S-Video's a small round black thing... Sorry if I'm getting into tellytubbies sucking eggs sort of thing

Sorry if I'm getting into tellytubbies sucking eggs sort of thing Don't worry about the sucking eggs thing - this is definitely a case of me knowing next to FA The TV has 2 x scart inputs and 2 x HDMI inputs. The PC has just a VGA (blue) output which currently runs to my monitor. Does that make sense?
Pot
It does... As far as I know (And being too lazy to do a google), I don't think there's a VGA (Blue) -> HDMI adapter, I'd initially suggest swopping the graphics card for one with a DVI output (A white one), and then getting a DVI -> HDMI adapter... Does your PC monitor have any other inputs? (I'm hoping you'll say it's got a DVI input), and how close is it to your TV? Reason I ask is as a bonus of this, you might be able to get your PC output on your TV too (pr0n on your sofa )
