there's a big airshow just outside of southport every year in fact its a big show of everything with cars clubs and everything but the name of it escapes me at the moment. at that show theres a lot of model aircraft displays and ive seen a big lancaster there that was a work of art and looked amazing also seen a lot of model jets on display there also....

a lot of those guys say they prefer the jets to the helicopters as they are easier to control but im not sure myself those jets undergo a lot of stress in those turns and some look fragile to begin with

sorry in my earlier post I didn’t mean to ask how much the plane is i meant the drift cars quoted the wrong thing!

i meant these http://www.hpieurope.com/kit-info.php?partNo=762&lang=en

they are around £180-£200, depending where you get them from best bet is to google them and see who stocks them , the newest version that i will be getting is £260.

I bet your glad you still have these mate as you hear no end of people asking where they could get them from, and then they re-released them. Lucky man you are :D

You can either fly and keep your cool in sticky situations or you have a huge pair of steel balls lol, thats alot of cash flying round at very high speeds.

:eyebrows::eyebrows::eyebrows: Don't call me ICEMAN at the field for nothing :innocent:Just came back now from the field on my high speed fix.

Ive been into off road nitro for a while now, Currently have hong nor x1 bugy&truggy and a crt.5. Used to have a savage, hyper7, rush and rascle.

Have dabbled in flight, but that turned out to be a poorly conceived idea, one trip to the playing field was all that lasted!

Currently toying with the idea of of a Blade MSR - should be easy enough for even me to fly!

I was at the southern model air show last weekend(with the off roaders), great fun! They had a 1/2 scale prop plane of some sort:search:, couple of red arrow replicas in formation which was fun to watch :)

now thats a real nice list and a few quid spent.

Certainly adds up, very addictive hobby to have is modeling. I do have lots more that I buy and repair/restore then sell on as a little money earner. I could sell the lot and have a tt coversion with change.

Haven't brought much since having children though.
