Dave
what would it cost me to have a TT engine in my n/a and where is the best place to get it done ????
Homer
Depends on auto or manual but I think the going rate is £1700+ supplied and fitted, more if a new clutch or auto box is required. AFR and Keron are two that come immediately to mind.

Homer
I would sell and buy a TT instead In most situations I would agree with that, however if you have a nice NA (late model, lots of money already invested in bodywork, brakes, etc) it's still a valid option. Cost effective, no.
Guest Budz86
Is that the going rate now? Means I'm much closer than I thought! Might go single instead!

Guest Budz86
For the cost-effectiveness I agree Dean, but I never plan on selling this as it will be a labour of love. Would like to know every single thing that has been done to it. Plus, she's in pretty good shape for an NA!

Homer
Single TT with a Manual box in your NA would cost more than this http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=143370 With a single and 6spd conversion on the cards I agree 100% here Dean. The cost to convert an NA to a singled 6spd (done right) will be far more than it costs to buy one that is already done to a nice specification.
