Come on Havard, whats on the demo???

Ferrari California, Evo 10, mini, Porsche Flying Lizard and R8.

One track, you can change the colours of the cars and assist options etc but no tuning. Kept me busy for about half an hour....:D

I will get the full game as it obviously has the Le mans track on it...:sly:

They seem to have toned down the realism of the cars physics.?!? You used to be able to control power oversteer with delicate balance of the throttle and steering. Now, you have to handbrake it into a slide, then the tiniest bit of counter steer puts the car straight again. (this is with ALL assists off). It seems there is still traction control active even when it's off.

Where is the driver animation when you change gear ?

Why the hell is the clutch button on the left bumper button?!?!. You can't brake and change down at the same time!!

Why do the cars struggle so much to get up the hills?

There is NO sense of speed in the cockpit view. 130mph looks more like 30mph.

Why can't you look left and right in the cockpit?, it jumps to an external view!. The whole interior is modelled as I've seen it in photomode!!

constant 60fps? my ass!. Cockpit view has some framerate issues when you have all others cars on screen.

Pants, what a let down :(

I think its the opposite they have given the cars some weight. I have the steering wheel and been racing with few others testing this demo. We then decided to switch to the controller and the backend on the porsche just doesnt slide as much.

This was never being put in, 2 buggy dropped while back

Its only demo you cant change it, also its designed for that steering wheel with the clutch, think its the porsche one.

Only get that with Mini, but got to remember your at top of its range on those hills so not much left to pull it up.

Porsche seems quite quick, i dont want much quicker or the Le Mans cars are gonna seem nuts

No it doesnt, the analogue stick does progressional movements. your just flicking the stick right and left like i did at first go diaganol on the stick to see what i mean.

I havent seen this, it looks very smooth to me.

Graphics arent as good as i thought they were gonna be, but generally im impressed

Replays good, menus fast, good selection of cars to look at in demo and watch and hear closely in replay mode.

Best racing game about for moment until least next year. Not too impressed with damage model its not on the scale of Dirt2

Loving the rewind feature, and was a laugh the first time I rolled my car. I'm a bit disappointed with the graphics though. They are shimmery around the edges particularly when viewing the car just before you're about to play. Does anyone else get that? Seems strange as it didn't do it in Forza 2. Could it be because it's just a demo? I think this is the 2nd demo i've ever downloaded so I don't know how well they usually represent the full game in the end.

demo was terible, old school forza 2 is out of this league.

this just doesnot match up to expectaions, its very sim, almost cartoon like, it has features u would expect from need for speed underground, (every time u start a race the car shakes) wow.

seems everycar has understeer even with all physics off, damage is pants compared to forza 2, and when crashing into cars the cars change of direction, damage is not really up to scratch, you never feel your driving the car as you do in forza 2, its a let down of the year.
