SupraStar 3000
Finally finished building this model helicopter and hope some of you RC pilots might find it interesting. Based on a Thunder Tiger - Raptor 60 with a MD500E body and lights The time consuming part was the Gyro and programming which required me to send if of to be set-up by a professional, much like mapping on our Supras. This took 5 months on and off. Had a test fly this weekend and its looks and sounds superb in the air. video attached PZbGlChwnXA The phone is to give an idea of scale - This is huge! SupraStar 3000
So I presume this is fitted with a video camera so you can perv at the blonde across the street. Not this particular model. I have another thats perfect for covert-operations such as bedroom window photography. Shame though as the blonde across the street is in her 80s. That is neat! You've prompted me to get my RC car setup! Choppers are too technical for me! Choppers are too technical for me aswell, thats why its taken so long to get this flyable. Its all a learning experience though. Just wiring took weeks and hours of head scratching. Thats awesome! looks a great job. Hope your a pro flyer a crash looks expensive! Thanks, Really dont fancy crashing this as any repair will be very difficult and costly. No, I'm not a pro 3D flyer but I can fly fast circuits, nose in, tail in, and accurate hovering. Very nice, Please don't crash it I'll try Yesterday I was fiddling with the electronics with the power on when I accidentally brushed against the throttle which sent the blades spinning just for a second, but enough to catch my arm and leave a massive bruise and draw blood. Ouch!

nevins
not yet as only recieved the plans 3 days ago from the usa but will happily post up some pics as im going along, the last war bird i had died a death, lol didnt notice a pin hole in the fuel line and the engine stalled when climbing at high speed and it came over on itself and that was that not a chance of gliding a spitfire in. Needless to say it was a black bag job
danny1987
I like it, I’ve got 3 nitro RC cars, 2 monster trucks and 1 race car, well I say race car at the moment it’s in bits, lol the front diff broke so I welded the rear diff up so I could drift, it worked for a while but then that disintegrated lol and now I can’t find the parts to repair it. danny1987
what make diff is it that you need I don’t know that’s the thing, the car was a kit which you got monthly from a mag (Nito Racer) but it doesn’t say what type of diff it is. nevins
Damn! What a shame. Was that scratch built? yeah, i scratch build them all from pans using balsa then covering it in thin balsa sheeting , but the focke is going to to be ply formers and then im going to skin it with fibre glass for added strength
