Guest Miran1212
Hi every body, i am looking to buy my first supra, not sure which model is the least hassle, is the auto box reliable? is the non turbo model quick enough or do you recommend the twinturbo, any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated
Frank Bullitt
Pay the £10 membership fee and use the search button. All the answers to your questions have been discussed before in great length. Welcome to the club
JamieP
Everyone will have a different opinion mate, myself i only like 6 speed TT's but you may love the auto box, Yes the auto are reliable unless you start pushing towards 500bhp. I would advise you just go test drive some to see what you like.

Abz
Also does anyone own a manual non turbo supra, as i would like to know if they are quick enough or not? cheers Welcome to the club. Quite a few members do... Depends on what you mean by quick enough? I think the 0 - 60mph time is 6.5 secs? So they are fairly quick. add heywood
As said, "quick enough" is a bit vague. What are yo used to driving?
Animal
Quick enough for what? My auto N/A is quick enough to have seen me banned twice
Thorin
Quick enough to beat the newer hot hatches? Probably not.
DSK
The auto boxes are very good and these days I tend to prefer auto's unless I only had track day only intentions. My auto's on the road are superb even when pushing on very quick. The n/a's IMO will be suitable and adequate in performance terms provided the engine has been correctly serviced and maintained. If so the engines are quite robust with nothing to worry about. If you can stretch comfortably and affford the additional running costs of the twin turbo, I'd personally recommend a tiwn turbo. hoff
Best advice is to go out and test drive a manual NA, an auto NA, a Manual TT and an auto TT. Then you will know what is the one for you. Welcome to the club matey:)
