paul mac
i'm sure i read the other day that Dude was balancing some parts for a customer at AFR, you could try Chris Wilson but as they're not gold plated diamond encrusted Carillo rods he probably wont touch them

TLicense
I can recommend http://www.vibrationfree.co.uk/ I've been using them for over 10 years and they've yet to let me down. When it comes to balancing there isn't anything this guy doesn't know or can't do. I know that the guy who runs the place, Steve, is at Spa at the moment, I think he gets back on Tuesday. Hope that helps.
Chris Wilson
I can do them, or pretty much any race engine shop can. 3 grammes is a lot to lose though!

absz
will pop them down to dude to have them done:) just looking for a replacement flywheel as my dual mass has excessive endfloat and side to side movement will have it all balanced at the same time. legendswraith
Was wondering what was wrong with grinding the pads and measuring around the centre points of the bearing ends. Did you think i meant grind randomly till they all weighed roughly the same

Did you think i meant grind randomly till they all weighed roughly the same Its not a case of getting the rods to weigh the same dude, that doesn't mean they are balanced!!!!! We can get some lovely flywheels dude, around £290 ish depending on the rate that day. Will put a pic up when I get a chance.
legendswraith
Yes i know both ends etc need to be within grammes of each other as well as the whole assembly and each other. Probably didn't give the best description and relied on the link too much. We balance the assemblies in gas turbines alot finer than con rods He's bringing them to you anyhow so its a null point, and you have the gear.
