michael
O2 have ADSL2+ in my local exchange and promise much faster connection speeds than my existing supplier for slightly less money with the added benefit of no download limits (apparently, need to check small print). I've emailed them a list of questions based on gaps in their website info but in the meantime do any of you have experience with 02 as a broadband provider? Good or bad, probably more interested in the bad at this time. I'm looking at their "Pro" package if that makes any difference. I basically need a quick and reliable connection with no traffic shaping or limits so I can work from home, play online games, download PS3 content without waiting until midnight (to avoid PlusNet restrictions) and just generally use the Internet without them sending me snotty emails about a 15GB monthly limit. Online reviews seem mixed but with a slant towards the positive so I'm tempted.

I do recommend them, however this may force your hand not to go with them
lexsum
They are good and the call centre is in glasgow last time i called them. Cant remember why i had to mind. Also they allow me to be smug when bt phones with 'offers' that are never as cheap or unlimited as o2.
Thorin
I've heard nothing but good things so far. I do know that BeThere is owned by O2 and they both use all the same infrastructure. If you're an O2 customer then I know you get discounted broadband, if not, then I think BeThere may be cheaper.
martini
I'm with O2 and am extremely pleased. I've been with many providers and they have been the best so far.
