Ordered some parts for my single build

remind me, are you doing all the fuelling 1st time around with Lee or doing the single conversion 1st then fuel system later?

 

 

Proberbly single build first then fuel side of things, head work and maybe a new tubby next year.

Well after ordering the fuel system I have been thinking of getting bigger turbo before the build starts.

 

I have been looking at this

 

S372 V-Band Outlet 83.4/74.3 Turbine Wheel 0.90 A/R

Compressor Wheel Inducer - 71.8mm

Compressor Wheel Exducer - 101.9mm

Compressor Wheel Trim - 50

Turbine Wheel Inducer - 83.4mm

Turbine Wheel Exducer - 74.3mm

Turbine Wheel Trim - 83/87

Turbine Option - Outlet - V-Band

Turbine Option - Inlet - T4

Turbine Option - A/R - 0.80

Horsepower Rating - 500-950

Sounds like a nice turbo, only thing to consider is big turbos like high revs and high boost to work well, then you are getting into fully built engines, if you just do the head though you may get away with it, depends how hard you push it.

 

 

 

EDIT.....

 

Best look at some rods and pistons etc aswell.

I would more than likely get it done next year so I have been thinking why not now. I have a little problem with the turbo from BW not been ready yet so going to see if I can change it.

 

Go for it mate, big is best, you need a ride in mine again now, did Lee tell you about our little blast in mine?:D

Just spoke with LeeP about the S372 and my fututre goals.

 

Also just heard back from Dusty and I have time to change the turbo for and extra $80.

 

With speaking with lee and my future goals been around 800-850 have decided to order the S372 with an 1.00A/R.

 

Now thinking whether to do the fuel system with the build now or wait till I get the head and block done.

Right the S372 is all ordered and in stock. My order should be ready for shipping middle of next week.

lol.. your goal keeps getting higher. Although 1100cc injectors should see you a long way. When will you have all the parts together?

 

 

Yeah I know Alex. Thats what happens in the company of Jamie P and LeeP:d.

 

Well MVP order should be shipped Wednesday so around 2-3wks for that to arrive and still waiting for the HKS kit from Japan which shouldnt be that long now 2wks maybe.

Had a text from LeeP this weekend saying my HKS order has finally turned up at his. So went to have a little nosey today.

 

Got to say I had a bit of a man juice leak when I saw the new HKS II wastegate and manifold. Will post so pics this week.

 

Getting closer to my single build.

 

Also decided to go with one of Lees uprated stroker kits when I rebuild the engine early next year.
