Geo
And so it Begins, he he. Prepare for all the niggly bits that add up to the Cost of the build dude. Nice Spec all the same. Are you doing a Build Thread??
JamieP
Nice one mate, what sort of power are you looking for? Stock rad will be fine if in decent condition. Water/meth kit is not really needed either if you want to save a few bob, i dont ever use mine.
Ricky49
It's going to take a while for me to get the rest of the bits together but when I do I'll do a build thread.
JamieP
Oh and you dont need a hks dli if going with a solaris ecu;)
Ricky49
Alrite Jamie. Around 600ish hopefully a bit more is possible. I was looking at the TO4Z but Im unsure at the moment. It's very unlikely I'd want any for power but if I got a turbo that has a bit of reserve just in case.
Ricky49
I'll be cancelling that in the morning then. Cheers Jamie
JamieP
T04z will do the job mate, are your sard injectors high imp? if not then you will also need a resistor pack.
Ricky49
Yeah I think they said they were high impedance. They never mentioned I'd need a resister pack.

Ricky49
Mr Ryan G I think if he has the time and wants to do it. Cheers for the fix Edited September 22, 2009 by Ricky49 (see edit history)
SteveR
Mr Ryan G I think if he has the time and wants to do it. Might be worth speaking to him before you order too many bits, as your mapper (as part of their service) really should be on hand to help guide you as to the best choices for your needs and the least painful way of going about it. Paul Whiffin
Yep, as Jamie says you wont need the DLi or the water injection kit, spend it on other stuff! I can do a TO4Z kit now just in case you haven't seen it.

They'll be ok with uprated pads/hoses/fluid, you still dont get the pedal feel/confidence of the big brake upgrades though.

Ricky49
I have those Poterfielsd pads on from you Paul, goodridge braided lines. Who needs to stop anyway . Is an oil catch tank necessary I have been told there is another way of doing it. ( Dont ask me how ).

You'd be suprised how good the big brakes are like Brembo/AP, its honestly one of the best mods you can do. Catch tank wise, you can plumb it back in to the air filter pipe, personally I wouldn't do it like that. All that hot air and oily crap going back into your air intake/engine, not the best.
