Chris Wilson
http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/121337-best-way-clean-soot-inside-exhaust.html Had to read this twice, I just couldn't believe anyone would seriously clean the INSIDE of their exhaust. How sad is that? How much time do these people have to waste? I bet he has colonic irrigation rather than just wiping his *rs@, too.....
AndrewOW
Yeah! Then again, it does come up a treat, doesn't it?!

Matt H
Horses for courses. I can't understand why anyone would have a beard but they do. Live and let live. Those pictures speak for themselves though, they chap has pride in his car and it shows.
ShamelessTT
Cleaning the outside is one thing, but thats a form of OCD. You can make keeping your car clean your life, but a birds still going to dump on it.

Lbm
I quite like it. However, I'd get my butler to do it.
michael
Seems perfectly normal to me, depends on the exhaust design and what the car is going to be doing I guess - fine for parking it up at a show or to take some nice pictures. You'll be saying it's not normal to take the lights out to wax behind them next!

tooquicktostop
I took my R32 to the Mersea Madness show a couple of years back to enter the show and shine with a lot of classic cars, it was a new engine bay and a very clean R32, well to cut a long story short when I looked at the real show classics arriving in their container trucks etc I hid in the corner Amazing level of detail, classic old cars in better than new condition Plenty of anorak's and pipes though
AndrewOW
Well if the owner wants to clean the pipe first before he fucks it, then that's totally understandable that he wants it cleaned out first! No self respecting chap would even consider doing the dirty with a filthy pipe, would they?!
Animal
There used to be a lad in one of the bike clubs I was in who had a 750 Honda, nothing particularly special, but absolutely immaculate. If he went on a ride out, he would spend the next 5 hours when he got home cleaning every last bit - even using a toothbrush to clean the fins on the engine. I'd say I can admire the dedication, but I really can't. Unless it's something super rare and immaculate, worth stupid money, then there are so many better things to do than waste half your life cleaning things.
