Wez
Hey All, In relation to this thread :- http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=197518 Would a R154 gearbox and bell housing from a 1JZ mount onto a 2JZ?
Tom
yep, finding it complete won't be easy so the best option afaik is getting a mkiii turbo supra gearbox then sourcing the bell housing seperately, I've read you can buy the bell housing for around £600 brand new, couldnt tell you if thats fact though. 2JZ swap do a kit for the FD, they might do one for the FC too as the kit for the FD is plug and play loom, engine mounts etc He should just throw in 1JZ tbh, much lighter, cheaper etc.

Chris Wilson
Agreed, the block bolt pattern and starter position is the same on both.
