Hks silent hi-power cat back exhaust (swap only for louder)

Hi guys

i've currently got the hks silent hi-power exhaust.

Full stainless steel, 3' bore and 5' tailpipe. In great condition apart from a small dent on the underside of the pipe but this doesnt affect performance at all !! :)

One of the best exhausts as fairly quiet and neighbour friendly when poodling but very agressive on full throttle.

I want something even louder as a swap. Must be full stainless steel

thinking along the lines of an rsr, nur spec r or boostlogic - as mentioned must be a lot louder than the hks ;)

let me know!! :D

I'll have to find out what my exhaust is if you want a swap from the cat back. I used to have a hi-power on my NA and this one on mine is currently a lot louder.

Will try and get you details this week if possible/interested. Ground clearance on it at the midsection isn't that great though.

You could always put your car in TTC mode, that makes it louder. Then you also get the choice to put it back if you don't like it.

Na mate thought about TTC but spoke with AFR and if you dont sort the fuelling and bits out it'll run awful... plus i'd just be kidding meself that i had a single!!!!!

As I thought my exhaust is definitely not an RSR exhaust... it actually appears to be quite a rare one (found it bloody difficult to track down with Google).

It's a Fujitsubo Giken Legalis R

http://www.fujitsubo.co.jp/english/E_prod_legalisR.html

Jasma rated (some sort of exhaust legal stuff in Japan?). Looking here it's $842 retail http://www.boomplustoys.net/Fujitsubo/legalisr.htm - £520 ish?

Anyone else got one?

Photos emailing to you now... will have to take some more with a proper camera when I can mate.

Pipe diameter 3 inch

Thickness 1.5mm

Tip 3.8 inch

Fully stainless steel. I don't know the db rating, but it sounds louder than my Hi-Power was on my previous NA (hence the wanting to swap). Looking on the net I've got this info :

Idling 72dB

3000rpm 76dB

5000rpm 84dB

6000rpm 105dB

Found HKS Hi-Power for a JZA80 rates to 99dB.

I know it's a relatively unknown brand of exhaust, so I can understand if you want to go for the RSR dude, won't offend me, as when I swap the exhaust I of course need to remap.
