osso
Is anyone familiar with the 'RPS Carbon-Carbon Twin Disc Clutch' for the Supra? Apparently its completely slippable and MVP claim that the hotter it gets the more power it holds! If this is true, could this be the nearest equilvalent to the high stall convertor for the auto box? I kinda like the idea of a cluch which can not be burnt out.
Guest Terry S
No. It means you can slip on launch but that does not mean it's like a High Stall. The stock clutch and many others can be slipped. When you are ready James give me a shout as we offer a few great TT clutches now.
osso
My clutch is fine, I was curious as i have been tempted going single for some time. the stock clutch can be slipped, but it will soon burn out However i dont think i would be happy going single on a manual, after going for a drive in Dude's car last year when he got the high stall converter installed.. Guest Terry S
lag is less of an issue with a manual, thats why you have all of those gears Take a trip in my sometime. So may copy it, but it will never be bettered
