gt4tosupra
My cats rattling, so should i buy a whifbitz 1st decat, £160, or should i buy one from japspeed for £120, is there any difference? Or should i be boring and put a new cat in there! The second cat has already been removed, how loud would it be overall, with my Blitz Nur spec R? supspower
Agreed very loud!! I experimented and removing the 1st cat and keeping the 2nd cat made more than noise than keeping the 1st cat and decatting the 2nd!
gt4tosupra
Cheers, i'll check out your vid at home, as it wont work on works computer!! supspower
The baffle reduced it alot for me but i prefered the noise without Havent got a clue, might be best sourcing a second hand one?
gt4tosupra
How many extra horses will taking the 1st cat off release? (with the 2nd already gone) 10 or 15 maybe? then i'll be closing in on my gt4 power figure:D
Neil-NA
I could be wrong but i dont think you will gain anywhere near that amount of HP. N/A cars are very hard to tune
Missile
I'm without both cats. Its loud but in a nice kind of way. Not a crazed duck waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak. I took off my 1st cat, Bored all the internals out and welded it back up. Doubt it made much difference, But the clutch did fail around the same time (Slipping etc) so any gain was wasted in slippage. I have a spare 1st cat in the shed i could do the same too
