dani_r
I noticed the other day that my oil pressure gauge is stuck right at the top. When I turn on the ignition all the gauges do 'the dance' where they all flick up to the top and back down again, but the oil pressure one just stays at 100psi. I noticed this after a fairly spirited drive. I've had a look at the sender connections on the sandwich plate and they seem ok. Any ideas? Many Thanks Dan
SteveC
Try giving the gauge a gentle tap to see if the needle returns to where it should be. If that doesn't work, try disconnecting and then reconnecting the power to the gauge.
Jamesy W
Pro Sport gauge? I've the same problem, except mines doesn't jam, it just fluctuates between 90 and 100. I'm positve the sender is fooked.

Jamesy W
just order one of this prosport gauges, hope it doesn't come faulty. Mines have been in two years now, and the only problem so far is that the sensor seams to be going a little wonky now. I am however swapping all mine over now to the digital Golwshift ones, only because I have an Innovate AFR and they look similar.

Chris and Alana
Most senders need to be earthed well to work properly. I used a bit of wire and earthed the sandwhich plate to the car and they all work fine
Chris Wilson
Just buy a half decent mechanical (Bourdon tube) gauge, they are faster responding, simpler and more reliable than most low end electric gauges. Even the OE market struggles with electric sender and gauge reliability, but they can't risk high pressure lines in the interior of the car. I need a boost gauge too and fancied an electric one as opposed to mechanical. I didn't fancy tryng to wind tubing through the car without getting it kinked!
