judder in corners

i have had this now for a while.

basicaly parking manouvers and sharp slow corners is when it happens. absolutley nothing in large bends etc...

its allmost as though i have a locked rear diff (when in sharp cornering one wheel is having to go the shorter distance around the inside so the wheel skipps to keep up with the one turning the longer distance around the outside) therefore i get a juddering/ harsh vibration from this happening.

is there any way of telling if i have a lsd or standard diff just by looking at it, or is there any tests i could try.

for example if i jack the car up on on one side should i be able to turn the wheel or not like any other car.

if you need any more info please ask as i want to get to the bottom of this problem as its doing my nut in.
