Guest alm08e
Hey all, new member to the forum from the US and just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Andrew and I'm currently in college studying international affairs as well as German. I own a 97 15th anniversary NA Supra (i think this is also aerotop, since it has an easily removed bolt on). I have recently been hired locally, and tuning my car is one of my top priorities. It has 100,500 miles on the engine, but was babied for at least 85,000 of those (family owned). I was wondering what would be the most cost efficient yet (more importantly) Stable and reliable way to reach around 450 HP. I've seen many kits and read somewhat extensively on the powerhouse one in a 1998 article I found on a website. If anyone cares to offer help it would be much appreciated (even a point in the right direction), however its fine if not as well. Just wanted to introduce myself
Lbm
Drop a TT lump in it and go Bpu. This won't get you 450bhp but around the 400 mark. hoff
Welcome to the club sir:hi: There is no easy cost effective way to gain power from an NA. It has been covered on here many times. Over here we tend to go down the NA-TT conversion. Basically putting in a TT engine. Though it seems in The U.S. NA-T conversions are more common. Over here the price for an NA-T is probably a Llittle more than NA-TT to do properly. But some good figures are posted on supraforums in the U.S. Realistcally those are the only two true options. DSK
welcome as mentioned, for ease and reliability, a TT engine swap with the BPU modifications is your best bet.
