Stratty
I will soon be having the TT conversion done on my NA and was told that I need a stronger clutch. I have heard that RPS is what I need but which one? Also, are there any others as it seems the RPS ones are quite costly. Many thanks. adam82
I'm running an uprated exedy clutch in mine but soon replacing to rps street max. I take it your gearbox is a 5 speed, if you go to whifbitz website they sell various rps clutches for this gearbox. The tt engine produces over 300lb of torque so you will most likely want to go for the 380lb torque capacity clutch option which is around 450 quid. If you are thinking of going for more than standard bhp with it you will want higher torque capacity one which is obviously more expensive again plus you are then risking ruining the gearbox rather than a slipping clutch when absolutely flooring it as these 5 speeds don't last long at if your running bpu power. tooquicktostop
RPS street max clutch will be perfect, if you think a cluch is a bit "pricey" you may want to rethink the conversion
