Lurch
Hello, I bought my car with a RPS Lightened Flywheel and RPS Max Street clutch and apparently thats the reason my revs are low. Does anyone else have this? What do people do to resolve this? Thanks in advanced
legendswraith
Not 100% sure what you are getting at with this do you mean you are constantly low revs or that you see the revs drop off quickly during shifts? If its that the rpm drops off quickly when you change gear thats because there is less rotating mass to spin down and it has less momentum to get rid of
miko_supra
Revs at idle? what rpm are you getting...
Chris Wilson
A light flywheel may well affect the smoothness of the tick over and the ability to make low RPM smooth starts, plus allow gear train and drive train rattles and noises, but even no flywheel at all shouldn't affect the mean RPM tick over speed. jimojameso
I have the exactly the same set up mate and my revs dont drop. It does rattle a bit below 2000rpm but revs are fine on mine. If your not far you can come and look at mine to see if its the same
