Printing threads off the forum... how to?

Evening all.

I am wanting to print a couple of large threads off the forum for my own records but the only way I seem to be able to do this by printing every page separately. I just wondered whether anyone knew an easier way?

I would ideally like to reduce the required number of pages too without losing the formatting for the forum.

Thanks

Ric

Presuming you are already viewing the pages with the most possible posts on each you could save them as HTML files complete with pictures and then copy and paste the individual files into one larger one and then print that. You'd need some understanding of the code though.

Thanks for the reply.

I might try give it a go but my knowledge of HTML is limited so I might just have to resort to printing all the pages off individually.

I've always used "show printable version" under Thread Tools, but I guess you know about that already. It does alter the formatting (for the better when printing, IMO) and you still need to print each page individually. Clicking "show 40 posts from this thread on one page" does reduce the number of pages that need to be printed.
