jackso11
Is it worth getting the silicone rad pipes or is it much better to get shiney ones with silicone connectors? I am looking to add a little colour to my bay, black car so thinking either red or blue. Opinions and pictures welcome
michael
Blue ones are faster. Are the tech mods on holiday BTW?

jackso11
Oh, the post title should be Rad pipes by the way. Not sure what you mean about the mods, but the technical question was.... "Is it worth getting the silicone rad pipes or is it much better to get shiney ones with silicone connectors?" i.e. does it make a difference to the temp of the coolant being metal? or does it make no difference? michael
It makes no difference, standard is fine and as long as any replacement items don't limit flow or leak they are just a cosmetic change. Beware metal pipes with dirt inside them or random lumps of metal waiting to fall out.
