Chris Wilson
Should be fine if you didn't get any stock ones in the gasket set.
Carl
haven't found a gasket set yet, knowone on here seems to sell them judging by my last thread replies or rather, lack of them..
Chris Wilson
I sell them. Head set, or conversion set, or both. I also sell bearing shells, forged pistons, water pumps, Carillo rods, blah blah. E-mail me if you want gasket pricing. I only sell quality gasket kits, I can't compete with some of the Ebay rubbish that is made up of none stock material gaskets made seemingly from recycled shoe soles. Mine are still a lot cheaper than buying from Toyota.
Bob
I had those viton ones when I changed my stem seals. No problems here, the car perfectly smoke free for a year or so before I sold up.
tony tt
Are valve stem seals a big job to fit just wondering what the labour cost would be?
Bob
Fiddly if you haven't done them before, and it helps to have the right tools as well as spare collets (think thats what they're called anyway!) from Toyota, as they tend to 'ping' away into the darkest recesses of the garage if you're not careful! Chris Wilson
My gasket people have now stopped selling the head and conversion gasket sets separately, due to lack of demand, and now just package them as a full engine gasket set.
