Carlos T
Was on my way home from work tonight and the route I take to work has just had 2 more speed camera's put up taking the number on my 7 mile commute to 6. Working out about 0.86 cameras per mile not to mention the 2 spots where the vans hide to catch you out. Just got me thinking if others have this many to contend with or maybe more and if anyone can hold the record for having the most per mile on there daily commute. Spike3.0
I see about that going around Liverpool to work, really dangerous as your eyes are always on the look out on your speed and where the cameras are... Pisses me right off !
Animal
Yeah, come to Lancashire, particularly around the Preston area - there are stupid amounts of cameras around here.
AlanM
That will be 0.86 cameras per mile then ...........
tbourner
That will be 0.86 cameras per mile then ........... They're still considering using the cats eye ASC as far as I know, which would put one every few hundred yards, and as they are average speed cameras you wouldn't be able to speed ANYWHERE in the country!!! It'll cost a lot though so we've still got some time before it happens.
Thorin
2 more speed camera's put up taking the number on my 7 mile commute to 6. Working out about 1.16 cameras per mile Math FAIL!

Oh no this is all to do with safety, they only charge money to put people off speeding - all the money goes to a good cause.

AlanM
The A9 north of Perth has 0.006 cameras per mile But I still got 3 points and £60 two weeks ago (SPECS van)
DanBEXsupra
would be a great youtube video if you wanted to lose your liscence, how many tickets can you get in under 5 mins....
Bobbeh
Drive around the north circular it feels that there are cameras every 100 ft!
tbourner
Who was it in that story where he apparently sped down some motorway and got about 6 tickets, but argued he'd only broken the limit once so would only pay one of the fines? devan
I might have a go at making a number plate tilter, for show use I saw you can buy them on http://www.speedflip.com, but i reckon i could make one with a hard wired toggle switch for under £50. tbourner
Somebody mentioned before having the front plate on a soft spring and hinged at the top, so when driving the air forces the plate up (allowing air into the IC/rad).
devan
Yeah i would make the plate tilter to allow more air into the rad of course. And then i would maybe put one on the rear plate too, just so it matches!
