Held out on posting this as i was making sure i was keeping it lol:rolleyes:

Anyway i have had her a month now and the modding bug already set in

I love it, yes it isnt a supra powerhouse but its so responsive and rewarding to drive. It handles so well and the sound it makes is sexual :D I have done a thousand miles in it already, i was doing barely 2-3k a year in the supra

Argh E55 is good for an autobahn ride at speed while smoking a cigar and sampling a fine wine, plus they are a fortune to keep on the road when they break!

The power isnt an issue in the Z if you enjoy 'spirited' driving, country lanes are awesome!

yup its nismo definitly for this car

Nice car:) i like the 350z but if im honest im not keen on that colour.

I have "moved on" but have failed AGAIN to find the same level of fun and looks for the money, the E55 AMG is quick and comfortable but its just soooooooo dull

I like the Z but it still looks like a side step as power gains are limited

I either get over it, get another Sup or spend a fortune on some exotica

Thats the trouble, im getting bored of my supra again but i know if i sell it i will soon miss it and want another so ill stick with it, I keep looking at M5's of late and loved my old one so may just get another one of them to run along with the supra.

The AMG 5.5 litre engine is great and delivers power through the rev range, it just does it in such a smooth way that the single turbo Supra seems so much more fun

The Nissan is a good choice & looks great but we all know that when (not if) Supra owners get used to the power they're able to up the bhp quite easily. So what to do when you're used to that of the Nissan? It's almost 10 years since the last Supra was made, but the fact is there are still few things to compare in terms of performance/looks vs price.

you dont need 400hp, i certainly didnt need 500odd!

What do you mean? General driving etc??

I remember chatting to Gaz from Envy on this subject, 400 BHP is not far from the stock limit if I remember rightly, a long way from the Supra stock limits

I have been looking for something BPU TT type of power. Looking at the Z on PH. You can get an awful lot of car for £10K...:innocent::taped:

a 10k Z will be a bit tatty, i looked at a fair few and was forced to raise budget

500hp is useless on the road imho, maybe if you were in something like a F430 or similar its ok. I could only ever use a couple of gears before stamping on the brakes

Your piston rings, bores, valve seats and valve stems will be wearing like there's no tomorrow with that HKS none filter. I was too idle to change these on my 20,000 miler R33 GTR, years ago, the turbos, plus all the above, were knackered by 35,000 miles with absolute text book symptoms of gritty air ingress. I did an engine rebuild, fitted a stock air box and stock filter, and not only did it run better than when I first bought it, it was still going strong with 130K + miles on it. I would hate to see such a mod make its presence felt in the same way for anyone else. I was warned, knew in my heart of heart's it was a disastrous intake set up, but I kept putting it off until it was too late.
