j_jza80
Hey guys, i'm starting uni next week, and I could really do with a new laptop. Here's what i'm looking for: - Something quite compact, but still easy to type on and with an easy to use stylus - fairly upto date tech wise - DVD playback prefered - MUST have a decent battery life - Not too expensive please. Could maybe stretch to around £500 if needs be Thanks guys

caseys
Stylus for a laptop? Are you after a tablet PC more than a laptop? Otherwise I'd suggest looking for a Core 2 Duo macbook But then I am a Mac bigot. 2nd hand with 2-4Gb of ram and it'll be fine.
Pixelfill
I presume by stylus he means the equivalent of the trackpoint "nipple" on an IBM laptop, but maybe not... Mike

Mike Hur hur you said nipple etc etc Did think that but I'd never heard someone refer to it as a stylus. Actually heard someone refer to it a part/nerve of the female anatomy, but that's about it. Bring back the laptop trackball or get more people doing a gesture trackpad like Apple do.
