caseys
Well calling all snowboarders/skaters/surfers/bikers here. My Snafu backpack is finally giving up the ghost after 8 years of travelling around the world with me so I'm looking for a new backpack. It needs to be vaguely waterproof, be able to fit in a aircraft cabin as carry-on baggage and also be able to fit a 14-15' laptop in it when I'm using it for work. Been having a look at Eastpak as I've got a holdall from them that's very good with a lifetime warranty. Have had Rip-Curl, Billabong and Animal backpacks in the past and they just break and generally are not rugged enough. Dakine and Boblbee any good? Anyone recommend me a good backpack then? dangerous brain
Can't go wrong with the old timers like karrimor or berghaus. The berghaus is the stronger more rugged item but the karrimor range looks better and has a lifetime guarantee. My 85 litre rucksack has been all round the world with me including several war zones having started its life doing ten tors twice, yup it looks a bit tired but being submerged in quick bog early on in its life and getting literally dragged across rocks and desert etc for over 15 years its hardly surprising. Its not damaged though to a point where I can claim on its lifetime guarantee though http://www.karrimor.com/SS09/Global%2070%20-%2090.htm http://www.karrimor.com/SS09/Global%20Hobo%2065.htm full range http://www.karrimor.com/SS09/segment.htm http://www.berghaus.com/ProductList.aspx?ProductRangeID=0&ProductTypeID=7&Gear=2&RucsacCapacityID=
