michael
I like to add courgettes and mushrooms to a tin of chopped tomatoes. Add some chopped leak and a selection of herbs. Finish with a dash of chilli powder and it's a good 'un. The benefit of your recipe is something our kitchen staff can't seem to grasp, flavour. Charlotte
After all the hard work I've done up here convincing these people that Southerners aren't wimps you come out with a comment like that. I drove to work in a t-shirt this morning. It was fairly mild. Sheesh. I really feel the cold and I hate it! Unfortunately I'm the biggest Southern pansy there is. It is still colder up here though. Thorin
When I was at school I used to get a pasty and gravy along with a grated cheese sandwich for lunch. Mopping up the gravy afterwards with the cheese sandwich was inspired.

probrox
I like homemade spicy pumpkin soup in the winter. There's nothing better than that when you get in from work when you're freezing cold.

Failing that Heinz Tomato I've never got on with tomato soup. I think if I tried a proper home made one I might like it.

tooquicktostop
Mouthwatering. Proper Gazpachio is difficult to make isn't it? No, its very easy to make, it is also very badly made however all the time, it is because it is so simple, its the simple stuff that is the hardest to get spot on IMO
Lbm
Lobster bisqué. Also recently while I was working hard on here last week, my good lady made some simple chunky vegetable soup - potatoes, sweet potato, leak, onion, carrots - all the usual suspects. Delicious.
