marbleapple
Evening all, I managed to replace my grey carpet with a black dyed carpet today. Must admit I really enjoyed myself even though I did get stuck at a number of points. Just wanted to say thanks to Mawby, Jake and everyone else who replied in my help thread. When I removed the carpet I found quite a number of bits which made me wonder how they got there. The best find by far was the below photo (which I like to think was the old owner). Not so exciting bits: P.s. Anyone know what the below cable is for? (under passenger non electric seat) The black carpet looks 10x better than the grey one. marbleapple
Didn't find a couple of tubbies then? Sadly not Oh my God! Put it back quick!!! Don't worry Pete... I did... I never sit in the passenger seat so I'll have to wait until the girlfriend gets back from Venice before I find out if the ejector seat works. bodilx6
Anyone know what the below cable is for? (under passenger non electric seat) Yep, its the connector for the stock amplifier. - I also found lots of funny stuff in my car. Quite a collection of Yen, some strange chewing gum still in packaging. Parking notices and a naked girl air freshener
stevie_b
That's a nice eclectic mixture of things in the 2nd photo, most of which I sadly recognise as various trim fitting screws. I'm still trying to work out what the object is just to the left of the green lug. Is it a bullet? A suppository?
M4RK RZ
Does my black dyed carpet guide still exist?
ClaireRZ-S
cool, i had one of them toll electronic things i think when you put a card into it and when you drive past a toll it tells you that you've paid etc. The japanese girl use to drive me mad because she'd start talking when you turn off the car and talk again when you turn it on. Carl
Maybe its a japenese tradition to leave a picture of themselves when they sell there cars. Maybe I should hook up my carpet for a look.

marbleapple
Does my black dyed carpet guide still exist? Yes but it's hard to find. I would have loved to have seen before I did the carpet. I found it last night and was going to add some pictures as there is a few things you don't montion (like the drivers footpad). Great guide though

I also found lots of multi coloured pearls.... I presume they are anti moisture 'things' as oppposed to hard drugs
