marbleapple
Evening All, After my rather exciting day installing my new carpet, I managed to make some headway as to establishing why I had a foglight conversion that I couldn't turn on (i.e. there was no switch). I found a wire leading from the rear lights that was seperate from the loom and followed it to the front of the car where it was joined by a 2nd wire that went to an earth point. There was also a third wire which was clearly meant to also connect to a switch and then went into a fuse. The wire on leaving the fuse appeared to have been snipped. The question I have is whilst I know that two of the wires are correct and working, does anyone have a clue as to what to do with the third wire and where it should be going? - Clearly one end should be attached to the switch but where should the other end go? Pics of problem wire below (with my thumb covering half the fuse): Cheers guys
Homer
Trace them back to the wires and bulb cluster they are fixed to and let us know which wire colours you have at each one and which blub cluster they link to. There's quite a few ways of doing the fog lamp mod so it'd be best to know which method has been used before suggesting what is needed. I did take the below earlier today (if it is any help)
