Hello Fellas, hope some of you with more knowledge can help me out with a question I have about my supra. Basically my car when started cold revs higher till its warm about 1500rpm that fine I understand its cold BUT when it warms up it revs at about 1000rpm very steadily for about 40 seconds and then sometimes rises to 1600rpm for 5 seconds than back down?? Any ideas why that is? It has been cold the last few mornings?? Also what is the recommended engine oil for my supra? Its a standard tt manual pre face-lift j-spec!! Thanks in advance for the help!

They all do it, all 3 of mine have done. Its to do with A/C and power etc not sure of the specifics but its normal unless all of mine have been faulty!

Is your AC on?

regarding oil, check the FAQ on fluids. all info in there. Whats up with all the '!!!'? :)

Ha Ha sorry bout all the !!!??? the a/c is not on when this is happening but benneyessex below said it happened with all 3 of his so this sounds good. I will check the FAQ about the oil now. Cheers
