Aero-M
Looking to expand and need to get a van, I quite like the look of these or the identical nissan vanette, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them? Link to the one I have seen. http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/vans/advert+search/N-244,Ne-7-8-27-64-105-133-146-236/advert.action?R=200936341234327&distance=37&postcode=ip29ps&channel=VANS&make=&model=&min_pr=&max_pr=&max_mileage=&vehicleYearOfManufacture=2000&vehicleRegLetter=W&make_keyword=LDV

merckx
A work colleague had a W reg Nissan Vanette, 100,000 on the clock. The heater matrix had to be replaced and the driveshaft fell off. Do you know where the engine is located, it would put me off because of it's inaccessibility?

I did wonder when I opened the bonnet to find a spare wheel, I would imagine the seats would have to come out to work on it, because i moved the cover around the gearstick, and that didn't reveal a lot. Do you know what caused the drive shaft to fall off?, a broken part or just come loose?
merckx
Do you know what caused the drive shaft to fall off?, a broken part or just come loose? I don't know what the caue was. Nissan cars are normally reliable, I'm not sure if their vans have the same reputation.
Aero-M
I travelled to look at the nissan in my second post today, I spoke with the bloke on the phone yesterday and he said it was very nice with only a small dent on one wing. That wasn't the case when I got there, it was a dog, the floor was rusted inside one of the side doors, im sure if I pocked it hard enough my finger would have gone through it, rusty roof and side panels inside, etc. plenty of dents and bad respray. So at only 90k, and 9 years old they don't seem to age very well
