JustGav
Anybody in the fire safety game? I've got a powder fire extinguisher which has been used now (suprise suprise given my habit of igniting myself). Is it possible to refill them and is anyone in this particular market who could refill it? I don't mean one of those silly little ones 1l things usually in cars, this will be a plumbed in 9kg powder system. I did find this website which seems VERY good for extinguishers. Ideally I want to put in a twin system. Regs say I need a foam/powder system aimed at the fuel rail so that has to go in, however I will also add a first stage Co2 system which will vent both sides of the engine. http://www.essentialfiresafety.co.uk/safety/car-extinguisher/ BUT it does look like I have to go with the Lifeline 2000 system (FIA regs) http://www.lifeline-fire.co.uk/fireextinguisher/electricalsystems.asp
