Fox
looking good. You could try and get a chrome ring made for the larger light!!
MONKEYmark
do the chrome rings come out or you have to mask them off. i fancy doing that. dont fancy splitting open brand new lights though
GlennMR2
i had to mask the chrome rings off as for getting 1 made up for the large hole, it would look good but i cant be bothered to do that. lol cheers for your replys

Guest steve silvester
are the lenses plastic or glass?? mine is a 1996 jap spec and has plastic they dont look like those, the chrome has gone brown and come away from the ring, it drives me mad every time i look at it. imi
Im in the process of painting my headlights too. Been polishing the lens using Turtle Wax Safe CUT for both inside & outside.... - Do I need a machine or something to buff the lens to perfection or a simple wipe and polish with a cloth will be sufficient. - What about this Novus and PLexus stuff...is this really required for best results. what about a normal glass cleaner...? I want to them paint the inside BLACK... - Do I use Halfords MATT BLACK UHT (high temp) spray on the inside straight away OR - Do I first need to prime it with Halfords Grey Primer. - whats the best way to MASK both the Chrome rings....? Appreciate all the help I can get as I dont want to put it all together only to rip it to bits again.
