Angarak
The new MOHAA game due in 2010 is to be set in modern day Afghanistan, it is being hyped to rival both Bad Company 2 and MW2 (rivalling MW2 on the PC shouldnt be hard!). I boycotted MW2 once they announced no SADS/SDK, I play in a clan and the game isnt balanced for competitive play....or any support from InsanityTard from the sounds of the official MW2 PC forums. @ Edge: If your PC meets the requirements on the game cover then you may be able to get your money back via a chargeback, here is a quote from a post on the Infinity Ward forums (since accidentally deleted!) ---Do a chargeback on your credit or debit card--- Let me elaborate. If you file a chargeback, make the reason you're filing it "Defective - product does not work as described." What does this mean? It means you're stuck with a product you can't return because the store won't take it back, however it doesn't WORK the way it was intended to. Your credit card company will return the charge back to you and the place you bought it from will have to EAT the charge. So... now IW doesn't lose their money because the RETAILER bought it from them. YOU bought it from the retailer. If you do a chargeback on your credit or debit card, YOU get your money back; IW got paid by the RETAILER, and the RETAILER gets screwed. Now... how long do you think a place like Game Stop will absorb chargebacks before they SUE Infinity Ward for selling them a defective product? Exactly. IW won't listen to you, but they WILL listen to their avenues of income; meaning their vendors. If enough retailers jump on and complain and start sueing IW for their losses on chargebacks, IW will HAVE to address THEM, ultimately addressing US. I handle chargebacks at my store ALL the time for the past 8 years, and let me tell you. EVEN if the retailer wins the first chargeback and they recharge your card, they NEVER win the second one. I can't tell you how many times my shop has been double-chargebacked for the same scam. (When I say scam, people would buy things on my online store, then chargeback immediately, and keep the product. When I explain to the credit card company, the customer never tried a return or has never contacted me, I win the first chargeback, but the dishonest customer does a second chargeback, and no matter what I tell the credit card company, the customer gets their money back and I eat the charge. Great system huh?) Parent's are going to do this just because their kids will complain that they don't want the game anymore; The game they preordered months before they were 'baited and switched' That leads me to my other point. Parent's will most likely do chargebacks under the pretense of "Bait and Switch" because they changed it at the last second without notifying ANYONE. How many people do you think Game Stop called after this announcement to warn consumers who preordered and thought they had everything taken care of and only had to worry about picking up their game on delivery day? Exactly... zero. And they have grounds to win their claims. IF they lose that first claim, they can file a second one, and 99.9999999% of the time they win it, so the retailer still loses the money. I'm going to wrap this up since it's getting a bit long in the tooth and I'm certain there's going to be some tl;dr's but for those who held on, I've got one more bomb to drop on IW. So we've determined two viable reasons for successful chargebacks ( and you got to keep the discs! ) and now, the best one.

Bobbeh
Shame about the MW2 for PC, COD4 on it is still great though. Battlefield and MOH to the rescue

Ric
I dont have any problems with the PC version, fair enough it swaps hosts here and there, i think ive had it twice. its hardly a major problem Regarding lag etc the game must cancell it out some how as the gameplay whenever ive played is smooth and fault free As for similar ranks i dont find that it matters, yeah higher ranks get better guns but ive kicked arse on a level 65 from my level 25 many a time
bigbloodyturbo
I'm getting a bit pissed off with it tbh. I'm quite good especially with the shotgun in favella and that sub base and i usually get most kills or highest k/d once I've been playing for a while but I've noticed that it seems to be a lot less fun than cod4. Getting kills seems to be far to easy....for everyone. This means everyone is getting huge kill streaks which in theory is ok because you get them aswell but how many times did you get a 12 killstreak in cod4? I've had that numerous times in MW2 since as you get a nine you call in a pavelow and hide untill you get another few kills. Just seems to be far to easy for everyone which makes getting good at it sort of pointless because anyone can get good at it pretty quickly, if that makes any sense:)
Angarak
The character hit boxes in MW2 are bigger than they are in COD4 (atleast on the PC) to minimise the effects of lag on hit detection. Its hard not to kill somone lol.

Its hard not to kill somone lol. That would explain a lot then, there has been a few times that I have got a kill and I know for a fact that the crosshairs where not on him at all. Makes you think how many times you've be nailed that way:( Sniper rifles seem really bad for it, maybe because the zoom makes it look worse. Really hating the deathstreaks aswell, it wouldn't be so bad if you only got them upto say level 10 but you get them all the time, its painkiller thats pisses me off the most, unless the guy doesn't see you then you've got very little chance of inflicting enough damage before he does the same, so in essence you get penalised for being good and not dieing and the noob not only gets a leg up but breaks your killstreak and helps his team as a whole, stupid.
