Guest singer
ive been looking about for car insurance for twin turbo supra, does anyone know of any good insurers? i recently got an insurance qoute for 1699.99 to be precise , and that was for fully comp.. i thought that was pretty good as im only
DSK
To be honest if I was an insurer I'd not even quote a 20yr old on a TT! I would say respect the fact that you are 20 and want/own a TT and £1600 isn't all that bad at all. I'm nearly 30 with full NCB and I pay £800 f/c. Thorin
How many years no claims? For a 20 year old that doesn't sound too bad though. The club insurer, Sky, may be able to beat that, but I'm not sure they're that good for younger drivers unfortunately.
shima60
thats about right i'd say. i was paying £1400 on my single turbo supe. i now pay £950 fully comp i'm 22 and ncd how 2 years can effect the price.

Ric
Isn't he? Only paid members get a membership number which can be used to obtain club discounts from insurers Usually.

L33
when i was 20 i was with http://www.bell.co.uk and that was on a TT, now ive modded my car and 22 im with adrian flux
leelbuk
I'm 26, 7 yrs NCB and I pay £397 fully comp on my TT, all mods declared. That's with admiral, but seeing as the car has a lot done to it I should really think about changing to someone who offers agreed value! Admiral will only pay out for standard Supra TT at market value etc. Just ring around I would as another insurer can sometimes offer it for far less. Also, it's worth having a second car sometimes and putting the Supra on limited mileage. I've limited my Supra to 5000 miles/year, although I do more like 2000
a98pmalcolm
im 24 - own a TT manual -3 points- 4 years no claims - agreed value £13k and i pay £370 fully comp! i think thats impossiable to beat And it is 100% genuine, no mistakes on the forms, but quotes and prices are always different for everyone. Guigsy
IIRC sky wont insure you on a tt unless your over 25. Unless its changed. I was 24 and 10 months and they refused to insure me.
pistonbroke
Just got a quote from Sky, all mods declared, including BPU and body stuff. New wheels also covered and loads of ICE. £520 FC with protection. 30 years old in SE London. Oh, and agreed value of 10K
