Guest bennyessex
Well im gonna! What I want to know is what it does to the car - I already have 19s and have lowered 40 mm and the car is ok. It will never handle like a race car but its an N/A so will never go like one either so please dont say it will handle shit I know! lol What arch work is needed and has anyone got pics? Gaz6002
You underestimate the effect of wheels that big. The arches will rub, you'll need them rolled or widened. Also, I hope you've got some MASSIVE brakes otherwise it's going to look a bit silly.

Yer thought as much. My arches dont rub on my 19s and they are the same width as the 20s will be or does this make no difference? And my 8 pot brakes are in transit
Guest blueangel
Almost done on them i now have them sat wider due to larger spacers.

Dazzi
I heard you lose both top speed and HP by fitting 20" but if that doesn't bother you, knock yourself out lol

supramkivcork
Had 20"s on mine, now have 18"s, it's handling was terrible to be honest on the 20"s. Much better now
jimojameso
Wouldn't recommend it mate, won't handle great. However if your hearts already set on them were not going to be able to stop you.

hodge
IMO 20" do look awesome when lowered nicely. As far as a show car goes I'd buy um all day long but for practicality 18s are the way forward.

pistonbroke
Is it whitesupraboy that has the abflug supe? If so, I'm pretty sure he's rolling on 20's too.

JamieP
Is it whitesupraboy that has the abflug supe? If so, I'm pretty sure he's rolling on 20's too. And he is first to admit the handling is terrible.
pistonbroke
and he is first to admit the handling is terrible. Edit, how big were the ones you had on the red one?
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
this has 20" and it handles mint. http://www.jm-imports.co.uk/carimages/toyota/2008/supra44/DSC00102.JPG on a track the car with 18" might have a better time but it does not handle bad with the 20" maybe the cars that have handle bad with 20" might have not been set up to accomadate them,,
JamieP
Edit, how big were the ones you had on the red one? 19's
pistonbroke
19's They looked hooooge for 19s! Bloomin nice too
Jason
20" for a show car are perfect, but for driving they are really not good. I'm looking for a compromise next year and are looking for a set of 19". Jason
marc_p
I've got 19's but wish I'd got another set of 18's, the handling was ruined, I think 19's look the best as 20's look rather silly IMO.
