Only ever played GH2 and GH3. That one looks good though some good toons.

I think so, but not to bothered as i dont mind playing that with my guitar, then when my mate comes round he brings the drums

i manage fine with World Tour version on my own.

Didn't even realise there was a "guitar hero 4".

 

Can you play the rockband games with the GH guitar's?

I think the guitars are usable on both, but one of the drum kits doesn't work on the other game.

 

Also announced today that GH5 is going like Rock Band with DLC being able to be used from GHWT and GH-Greatest Hits. I think also songs from both discs can be downloaded/imported into GH5 so none of that changing disc/game nonsense.

Logitech do a nice "controller" for the true enthusiasts, I think I'd prefer a G25 though.

Logitech really are going out for the premium controller market aren't they? They also do a $250 drum kit iirc.

 

Well you can play guitar hero / rock band on a controller. I assume the G25 again mimics a standard controller for input to games so in theory yes you could play them with it

Sadly not, I have an older Logitech wheel that still does the trick though so I'll probably find my way onto GT5 but I really need a new TV and somewhere suitable to play, at the moment there is a coffee table where the race seat and wheel / pedals should be

Going off topic I was thinking of buying a pair of the Supra recaros and fabricating a base for a seat and the frame work to fit pedalbox and a steering wheel. If I buy a pair of seats I can do both and keep one for myself and sell the other on.
