JustGav
They only made 13 and all 13 aired in the US. Not all 13 aired, only 8 aired on ABC. The remaining ones have been aired in Canada. Hopefully BBC carry all 13.
tbourner
I'm a tad annoyed that we will never find out what the real reason for the journey is as Defying Gravity was cancelled. What is Beta and what is in the storage pod? I know what the story is for this, but I won't say because I think we will get to see all the episodes. Wouldn't count on it... I've seen 12 of the 13, and unless they answer a LOT of questions in the last episode I don't think we will. **SPOILERS** for Defying Gravity: From what I understand; in the 2030s a group a bit like CETI found a message from Mars, then they tracked a reply and found it was coming from Earth! They called the Martian message sender Alpha and the Terran one Beta. They now know there are 7 of them on various planets in the solar system - the mission to Mars was to collect Alpha, they have Beta on board the ship and they're going to Venus to collect the 3rd one. They hope when they get them all together more will become clear about their purpose. So is that what happened in the 12 episodes you've seen? AndrewOW
That sounds fascinating. I wonder why I missed the whole thing, but then again, if I had watched it, I'd have been so frustrated by another cancellation of a decent programme! JustGav
Just watched the last episode of Defying Gravity, and man I'm absolutely gutted they have canned it. The ending sadly leaves a HUGE amount of questions unanswered. Such a pity.
AndrewOW
I've (ahem) downloaded the whole series of Defying Gravity, and intend to watch it next week. It is a shame when they cancel these programmes. I quite liked that Threshold, but that was cancelled early too. Bring back Wilma Deering (Buck Rogers), that's what I say! AndrewOW
Well, I really enjoyed the episodes of Defying Gravity, and what a shame they cancelled it, especially leaving them all up in space like that, with a couple braving it on another hostile world. Those tv execs don't know nothing!
