mr lover
I have just changed my front brake pads (J spec brakes) done passenger side no problem then when i done the drivers side i noticed 2 (sort of u shape)wire clips linking between both brake pads top and bottom. The question is should i get some for the other side as they are there for a reason or does it not really matter. I should be able to get these from toyota shouldn't i? thanks
Rob
Yes, you want them on both sides. Someone will be along shortly with the part number.

Digsy
47743-24020 for the fronts. 47743-50020 for the rears. They are there to make you take your wheels of twice every time you change your pads, because if you are like me you will forget to put them back in and not realise until the car is back on all four wheels It just keeps on getting funnier when that happens...
