Jamesy
Bit unfair Ric, as mentioned to you i added the dash refurb onto the "list" of jobs at the last minute, and as im getting such a great deal I TOLD him not to worry too much about all those fiddly bits .... pistonbroke
The blanking plug will look odd if it's left unpainted. I bet you retract that statement when you see the end result.

Jamesy
Am i missing the point then?? pistonbroke
Noooo, it was aimed at Ric, who said it was lazy to leave it in there. How would it get sprayed if you took it out? Which is why I said it would look odd, unpainted. Forums can be hard work sometimes

Homer
Actually Ric does raise a good point about the blanking plug and cig lighter surround. If they are not removed before priming and painting the finish around the gaps is going to end up looking bad and will crack/craze after time. It'd be best to get Matt to remove the cig lighter holder and blanking plug before it gets a final prime and paint. It's only 10 minutes work (though the cig part can be tricky if not done before!). Trust me, you will want these removed before a final paint.
Jamesy
Cheers Fitz New pics just in...the boot and spoiler are sprayed and fitted and the engine parts now have a base coat ready for the electric blue Loving the last pic and the colour match looks spot on going by the pics Edited September 11, 2009 by Jamesy (see edit history)
