Samurai446
Ah i see. My fcd was already fitted and looped up into the glove box. Have a good look around underneath the glovebox area

Steve
As far as i know it should be under the plastic cover
hadyn
would i see wires coming from it if it had a FCD fitted?
SimonB
would i see wires coming from it if it had a FCD fitted? No probably not, it would be under the cover. There's two nuts at the bottom, just take those off and lift the cover.
Steve
As Simon said it would be hidden under the cover. ( Am always to slow to respond to these things)

hadyn
what kg/cm2 should you hit fuel cut? i could swear mine would boost past the 1.0 kg/cm2 without fuel cut.........
Jake
1bar = 1.02 kg/cm² A stock Supe should hit fuel cut if the boost went above 1 bar for more than a sec or two. Have you checked for a FCD yet? Also check for unusual stickers on the ECU. "MINES" for example.
hadyn
right just lifted the cover which has exposed the gearbox and engine ECU. No add on wiring, no sign of an FCD and no stickers on the ECU apart from the Toyota Denso ones. Althougth the top of the harness does have some grey tape that doesnt look factory on it. So why wont my car hit fuel cut @ 1bar? I've over boosted before and had a softer sensation like when you hit the speed limiter, but from what i've heard fuel cut should be like hitting a brick wall at high speed
Jake
The car's had a full decat, has it?
hadyn
Nope, just a catback dragger, I raised the boost to 1bar with a bleed valve, but got spikes to 1.1 bar!!!
Jake
iDunno then. It could just be down to an inaccurate boost gauge I suppose.
