AndrewOW
Just listening to them on Radio 1 at the moment. Incredible stuff! So looking forward to seeing them again in November.

RedM
Muse make me yawn. There was something in the Guardian about how the 'big stars doing homecoming gigs' usually marks the end of a bands existence. http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/sep/05/muse-homecoming-devon

RedM
Dull write up, but thanks for sharing. It's not really a write-up as that implies a form of review or preview. It's just an opinion piece really but then I reckon that you knew that and were merely being contentious.

Besides, like you, I'm never contentious on 'ere - Never.
AndrewOW
And the fact they are supporting U2 on some of their US dates, just goes to show they have the rest of the world at their feet. Now that I would like to see!

caseys
I remember seeing them back in 1999 when they played the Guildhall in Southampton and they were really really nervous and lacked any stage presence. Quite different when I last saw them at Wembley. Seeing bands sometimes play intimate venues is quite good, the red hot chili peppers at the Electric Ballroom were awesome. Still unsure of Muse's new album too.

I fear though I will not make it to Wembley, sell any CDs, or downloads or even get Rorschach to yawn at my music. If I'm not mistaken, Muse are also massive in Japan and France - cracking the french market is pretty impressive as French radio play a minimum of around 80% French music. Sometimes you can't beat a small pub venue. Local pub near me sometimes have the levellers doing gig under a cameo name. Awesome stuff French radio play a minimum of around 80% French music. Awesome stuff Poor bastards Actually in '99 I drove down from Watford to see Placebo at the Guildhall - and it has to be said the sound was rubbish. I'd also never seen so many guitar changes for every song. Anyway, we all nipped into those bar rooms at either side to get away from the din. You'd think he'd learn to use a capo eh? Or quickly tune? Then again Smashing Pumpkins / Corgan was prone to that sometimes, but quite frankly he sings in a very rare key. Guidhall shoddy accoustics are only beaten by Earls Court. Never ever going there again. Even Southampton Uni have a better accoustic venue than the Guildhall. Lbm
I once went on a date with a nice nurse. It was '98. We went to the Albert Hall. We went to a gig. It was the Corrs. I humbly resign.
Mike
I find his vocal winey and their tunes repetitive... it's like aural autism to me.

Lbm
My brother has played the organ at the Albert Hall. Yeah, he rocks. /random off. He's not American musician Mark Hart - the hammond player/guitarist in Crowded House, is he? I've seen them at the Albert Hall and an organ was definately involved. If it is him - he's very good. Lbm
He d*cks all over crowded house. That's not permitted in some counties - still, makes for a good live show
