Scott
As above really. I'm thinking about refurbing the brakes on the MR2 but thought that maybe i could buy a set of J-Specs and fit them straight on? Again as above i would be fitting them on a Rev2 which i believe has slightly bigger brakes than a rev1. Thanks

Guest davey dave
J-spec brakes are i beleive the same as the ST205 GT4, or is that the UK spec? In any case the GT4's dont fit straight on. However if the Jspec are smaller im not sure sorry but i've never heard of it done in the 6 years i've had my mr2 which may mean not a chance Most people just get better pads and that does work a treat. If you really want to go bigger without spending alot of money then this: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=119501 may be usefull as you use your standard calipers on larger disks.. No idea if the braking force would outweigh the cost instead of just uprating the pads though on the standard setup.. That and putting in fresh brake fluid. Sorry if none of that made sence, tis late! Dave
Scott
Thanks for the help bud. I don't actually think the j-spec brakes are any bigger than what i have on the MR2 at the moment, thats whats making me think they may actually be the same. Basically i just want to have a spare set of brakes that i can refurbish at my leisure while keeping the car on the road. Its my wife's commuter after all lol.
