Are all VW enthusiasts camp?

Ok. So i went out today and stopped to wolf down some kfc. As i pulled into the carpark there were 3 VW golf's trying to park. All slammed onto the ground. stretched wheels etc. (i guess there must have been something VW related at billing/pod today)

I parked and went inside and after a few mins they followed. As i was sat eating more turned up. by the time i was finished eating the carpark was full of them.

Then when they sat down near me i noticed something. Every single one of them. appart from 1 were wairing stupid sunglasses that looked more like ski goggles or were a bit camp looking style wise.

Or they had an over the top haircut, gelled down/up/sideways/round and round.

Or they had tight fitting pastel coloured salmon pink/sky blue shirts. Overly fasionable shoes and trainers.

One guy looked like a stylish tramp. He had black hair with orrange highlights that was scruffy although intentional. A black baseball cap, a tweed blazer that was a bit too small for him. a red tshirt and faded blue jeans and some very clean trainers with no socks.

Another guy had styled hair in spikes. A light blue and pink striped polo shirt that was too small for him. A pair of sunglasses (its overcast today, and we were inside) that looked like this but white frames and black lenses

The only normal looking guy had a "performance VW magazine" black polo shirt and normal jeans.

Whats the deal with this? When supra owners meet up its just a random collection of different, normal looking people. We dont have a "look" or a style or anything.

I have to say the cars looked quite cool. and im not a huge VW fan. it was just the owners looked a little odd as they all dressed oddly :S

One that turned up just as i left (i think it was a jetta or something 5 door) stopped and as he parked the suspention raised about 5 inches so he didnt catch the curb. That was quite cool. The car was brown though :S And not a kinda nice MSB colour... it was brown. like... coffee coloured.

Guigsy - I think I've solved the riddle of the gayness.

It's basically just "early twenties man" in his usual attire. Don't be fooled by this. Just because they look camp doesn't mean they're homosexuals - some of my best friends have VW's...or used to.

But i was in my early 20's a few years ago... and I nor my friends ever wanted to look gay... how to they expect to attract girls if they look gay? :p

Well look, we don't know each other, but perhaps you and your mates inadvertently did look fashionably gay too? - like these fools, you too just didn't know it - However, you got older, you got wise and now you probably all have lady friends in every port - so what I'm saying is..actually I don't know what I'm saying.

Anyway you're not in you're early 20s anymore, nor am I and that's why we shall be victorious my friend - and they (the accidental queer looking types) will fail.

It's the 'Metrosexual' look. I blame in on the estrogens in that 'c@ts-p1sslager' stuff they drink...;)
