jacko
Islam is a faith with blood on it's hands. That one I love, "Islam has blood on it's hands" I thought he said the Government had the bloody of Muslims on its hands, referring to Iraq and Afghanistan? Im sure i wasnt the only person who found myself agreeing with several of the things he said, yes maybe his views go too far (like Hitler), but i'm all for freedom of speech. Im yet to be convinced of the BBC's motives though, a ratings winner being the most likely. The fact is the main political parties all swan around the centre ground, trying to please everyone and not actually pleasing anyone. Nick Griffin has the guts to say what a lot of people think and for that he can only be applauded. Wanting to put a cap on immigration or saying that the UK should stay a Christian country is not racist. There is now a very fine line between Patriotism and Racism, and that is very sad. I loved the expression from the black man on the front row, when somebody dared to cheer Nick Griffin, he obviously feels it is only his views that count..... I don't practice Christianity - should I go and live somewhere else?

I really don't care much for politics or race - but I do think the Muslims have the upper hand. We build mosques over here, left right and centre... There's not one church in Saudi Arabia though. Also, what classifies Britishness? I think a lot of it is how you feel about who you are. I've a friend who is second-generation British, his parents are from India, he was born here. You ask him if he's English or Indian, he says Indian. That's who he is and what he's proud of. Just because you're born here doesn't "make" you English. That's like saying if a dog is born in a stable, it's a horse...

Thats freedom of speech for you!!!! We have been asking customers what they make of all this and a surprising number seem to agree with SOME of his policies, I guess they are fed up with being made guilty to hang a St George flag up, I know for sure I am. Australia have the right idea you have to agree to live as an Australian. Think I might shoot over to Iraq and insist on my rights as a white christian and see how far that gets me, prob beheaded especially if I name my teddy after some Deity. Being the wrong side of 40 I USED to live in Great Britain, now im not so sure where I live.
Paul
Well, he does have a nice supra so cant be that bad. Thanks Mike just being a tool as usual, never met him, not a skin head and don't belong to the BNP. Regardless of where you stand on this issue the programme was clearly biased against NG and that's never good for a democracy imo.

And that's why I dislike the whole programme, not just this particular edition - the audience is always full of narrow minded freaks with an agenda. The only difference between Question Time and Jerry Springer is the thin veneer of class from inviting politicians rather than rednecks to join in. tbourner
Also, what classifies Britishness? How do MI6 check that you're 3 generations British before letting you join? Why not use that as a rule? Cap the number of people who are not 3rd gen Brits under MI6 rules (whatever they may be) and send the rest packing - I think they'd do better with this kind of policy rather than 'no blacks' and 'only 17,000 year old people allowed'. Also, Jack Straw saying we can't cap the population at 65m because that would mean capping how many children people can have. So? Do that then! Look where China are now, they're forced to wipe out their babies because of overcrowding. Why not give everyone the right to have 0.75 children, so a couple can have 1 child and either buy or sell their right to a 2nd child (poor familes get money to bring up their kid, rich families have proven they can support 2 kids), the average child per household then sticks at 1.5 and the population slowly drops. Abz
I dont personally believe Islam does that. There are several quotes from the Quran that push forward the equality of both sexes (much more so that the monolithic religions prior to Islam inc Christianity - which supposedly this country is still based on). Again, I see no evidence that the FAITH, ISLAM bans freedom of speech however if he was referring to specific countries - then he would have a point - but he needs to differentiate between Islam and the practices of some people / countries today. Jake - you asked as a muslim (don't all start running away from your screen it won't explode!) forum member what I think? Well IMI (Apologises dude, don't know your name) has correctly answered some of the forum members questions above. NG has a very twisted mind set, he will believe what a horse tells him, how can you believe a man who denies something which is recorded and played thosands of times on Youtube. Islam is a very large religion, if this was such true then we would all be dead! We have been brought up with strictness and teaching which say to respect elders, not love, forgive. Islam is very very very very similar to Christianity, we believe in similar values. The whole how life evolved with Adam and Eve we believe, we believe in the bible & Jesus is our one of our prophets (very important one at that). Septic - Very good post (even if its an unlucky 13) We have a small and I mean small... amount of people who believe in extremists! I beg the media not to give them a platform, how the BNP are just referred to as "far right" why could not these extremists be called the same? Instead they are not Islamic Militants or Islamic Terrorists, whats so Islamic about them? None... I have got into loads of fights with extremists who have tried to brainwash young kids, we should be following our Prophet Mohammand and his teachings which were given from Allah. None of teachings told us to "Kill" non believers this is all bullshit! With regards to no Churches in Saudi Arabia, its true but not many Christians live there, it is quite a holy Islamic country and most of the Christians live in Jordon a neighbouring country which has just as much Churches as Mosques (this is in the middle east no joke!). After spending 25 years living here...paying my taxes, doing everything I can to help this country which I called my own, I am starting to give up hope. I think its time to move on after watching Question time and earlier program on Paranama I think I am going to emigrate. My dad always told me my Grandad fought in WW2 for a great country...and it was great. Sorry for the long post.

Hang on are you saying this is how the BNP should look at it or that this is your viewpoint in population in Britain? Just curious as I am half english, half Malaysian. Born here, grew up here, educated here and working here. I can't speak fluent Mandarin, but potentially under this system I would be 'deported' as would my mother, who has worked for the NHS for 35+ years. Quite frankly sir, that seems a ridiculous idea.
