dude
Hang on are you saying this is how the BNP should look at it or that this is your viewpoint in population in Britain? Just curious as I am half english, half Malaysian. Born here, grew up here, educated here and working here. I can't speak fluent Mandarin, but potentially under this system I would be 'deported' as would my mother, who has worked for the NHS for 35+ years. Quite frankly sir, that seems a ridiculous idea. Any one who is willing to fight for Britain etc should be classed as British................................being able to speak the language would be handy too. DaveK
Hence i said a lot of people and not everybody..... Feel free. I did not say close down Mosques or other religions should not be allowed - i think you'll find there is a difference. Britain is a Christian country, the same as Iraq is an Islamic country. So, explain exactly what "stay a Christian country" actually means. If it doesn't mean stop other religions, and it doesn't mean closing down mosques etc. - what did you mean? What BNP policy specifically relates to "stay a christian country"? What would be different from current government policies?
marbleapple
awww... bless.. poor little Nick not allowed to answer... I find it ironic that people who are against the suppression of rights and wish to protect the minorities (i.e. Liberty etc) at the same time try limit the ability of people who they disagree with from getting air time. He should have been allowed to answer just as all the demonstrators were allowed to demonstrate. In my opinion irrespective of how daft he is he has a right to be heard just as everyone else does in a democratic society

Mike
How do MI6 check that you're 3 generations British before letting you join? Why not use that as a rule? Cap the number of people who are not 3rd gen Brits under MI6 rules (whatever they may be) and send the rest packing - I think they'd do better with this kind of policy rather than 'no blacks' and 'only 17,000 year old people allowed'. Also, Jack Straw saying we can't cap the population at 65m because that would mean capping how many children people can have. So? Do that then! Look where China are now, they're forced to wipe out their babies because of overcrowding. Why not give everyone the right to have 0.75 children, so a couple can have 1 child and either buy or sell their right to a 2nd child (poor familes get money to bring up their kid, rich families have proven they can support 2 kids), the average child per household then sticks at 1.5 and the population slowly drops. You don't half write some tosh sometimes Trev
Tony
his thing about the muslims was spot on. If they come to our country they should live by our rules! like has been mentioned before about the muslim who got 10k compensation for being asked to remove his turbin in police riot training! insanity! you want to live here you live by our rules I think if you take muslim out that quote & substitute anybody it makes more sence, if you want to live, work, settle here you abide by our countries laws, and you dont expect us to change & make an exception for you. People should assume my posts don't include any of my own opinions (I usually put IMO if they do), but I'm good at fighting on people's side even if I don't agree with them (hence my bad rep on here). I don't really have enough info to form my own opinion on deportation/immigration etc. except that I think there should be a divide of some kind between British and foreign people. martini
Wrong - Jews are not a race I know, it was just a joke after everything Matt had just said about equality. Being Jewish is not a race because Jews do not share one common ancestry or biological distinction. People of many different races have become Jewish people over the years. tbourner
how can you believe a man who denies something which is recorded and played thosands of times on Youtube. Did you watch the video I posted? The video with HUGE chunks cut out of it (at 1:17 and 1:25)? Yeah cos that's obviously not been edited to make him look bad! You don't half write some tosh sometimes Trev What was tosh about it? MI6 won't let you join unless you're 3rd gen 'British' citizen - how do they check? And we ARE heading for massive overpopulation, which if we cut back would save all our problems with polution and traffic and lack of NHS beds and all sorts of other things - can you think of a better way than mine to limit the population growth? If it doesn't mean stop other religions, and it doesn't mean closing down mosques etc. - what did you mean? What BNP policy specifically relates to "stay a christian country"? What would be different from current government policies? Well, Britain is classed as a Christian country, Christians are in the majority, the head of state is a Christian etc... but it is about more than that. Christianity seems to get constantly trampled on and nobody ever says anything, like the whole subject of not wearing crucifixes to work, incase it offends somebody. The moment somebody tells a Muslim they have to take off their veil there is uproar and they are branded a racist.
RedM
Any one who is willing to fight for Britain etc should be classed as British................................being able to speak the language would be handy too. That goes for the British ex-pats when they descend on their chosen part of foreign lands. It should have held true during that great land grab called The Empire. I wonder how many True Brits 'muddied the waters' out on Africa and the like. Frankly, f**k borders and if that means more people want to come here then let them. It might make the True Brits work a bit harder to hold on to what they've got rather than believing that they have a right to it.
Matt H
Can't people see that immigrants arn't the problem, it's the biritsh laws that are. It's not about race, creed, black / white or anything else that's different between 'races'. I'm not fused who comes here, it's not my land or yours, we just happened to be lucky enough to be born here. I don't believe the country will be a great place if the population grows so rapidly. The important thing here is that the country needs to slow its intact of immigrants; not because of any ethnical reasons, or because they're not welcome, it's just the country is filling up too fast. Griffin's message there is correct, but his reasons for it and his way of going about that is totally wrong. It's this conflict that causes the missguided support that the BNP are getting. supra_aero
Some very stupid misinformed people on this thread. Bottom line is you will never get through to some racist minded individuals no matter how much you try to educate them. It will just be "but's and if's"; Obviously their upbringing and family/friends have white washed their mindsets into these views - similar to Mr Griffin. These muslins/ethnics many of you speak of - do you know any of them or are you speaking of them from statistics and news paper articles? I bet my life savings its the latter. Hence the already foolish confusion of sikhs and muslims already in this thread.

jacko
I think the support the BNP is getting is mainly down to immigration, and the Government's lack of decisive action. Britain's population is growing too fast and something will need to be done. I feel the Government's immigration policy lost all credibility when they initially stated that the Gurkahs would not be allowed to settle here. It should never have taken a celebrity to bring their plight into the public arena, that should have been allowed to settle here from the start

TopgunTT
At the end of the day everyone has their vote, If they want to vote for the bnp then they will. They don't have to be a sheep and follow the majority of people and vote for the big 2. Bottom line is so many people are brain washed into voting lab and con just because freinds and family do it.
