how_supra
I know windows 98 is set in the dark ages, but it suits me as I only use it occasionally (plus I wait until my Dad or Brother get bored with their PC and then I get a free upgrade) But more and more I'm having difficulty opening web pages, those in particular who use Javascript and Macromedia flash, and I download the necessary as suggested in the websites I attempt to load up and nothing happens, I still can't get the webpages to work, so what am I to do? What am I doing wrong? And does anyone have any suggestions to help me out? I use Netscape as IExplorer doesn't work particularly well on my computer

GeordieSteve
You need a Microsoft Money fix. Strange as it seems there's a problem with SE and IE which needs a MS Money patch installed to make it work

how_supra
It took 40minutes to download, but I still can't open up any page that needs Javascript and/or Macromedia flash.
KatieC
Have you not got Javascript on the PC and Macromedia, if you haven't you will need to download them to support the webs sites that have them. Also I would use IE 6 personally, as I have just sorted out Scripting errors on my friends PC which she was getting with IE4, I think that may solve it? Please let me know!! That's the thing, I have tried to download them on a number of occasions, but still nothing. IE doesn't work properly on my pc either. I accept my fate I think, but thanks everyone
